Abstract: Botanical experimentation is very important for teaching botany. This paper analyses the characteristics of traditional teaching of experiments in plant science. Four suggestions in improving the quality of such teaching have been proposed i.e., increasing the variety of the experimental method, turning part process experimentation to process experimentation, increasing the amount of comprehensive experiments and exploring experiments. We hope such suggestions can be helpful to educational reform in botanical experiments. Botanical experiments can help both teachers and students in botanical teaching and can train students with creative ability.
