摘要： 报道了苏格兰木(Scotoxylon)在我国北京市延庆地区上侏罗统后城组中首次发现。它以延庆苏格兰木一新种(Scotoxylon yangingenes sp. nov.)为代表。该属的主要特征是具有原始刺柏型木(Protojuniper-oxylon)的次生木材、内始式的初生木质部及同质薄壁细胞的髓。

Abstract: A fossil wood, genus Scotoxylon was first discoved from the Yanging district of Beijing city in China. It is represented by a new species Scotoxylon yanqingense from the Houcheng Formation of Upper Jurassic. This genus is characterised by the secondary wood with Protojuniperoxylon type, primary xylem bearing endarch and by the pith consisting of homogeneous parenchyma cells.
