摘要： 杉科的红杉属、水杉属、落羽杉属和水松属的形态学特征相近似。化石材料由于缺乏足够的生物学特征，而且对现存植物也缺乏详尽而细致的形态学特征的研究，要正确区分这四属化石植物，仍然有许多困难。本文根据前人的研究成果，在枝、叶、雌球果和雄球花的形态特征等方面对这形态学特征相近的四属进行了初步的分析和比较。
Abstract: Morphological features of genus Sequoia, Metasequoia, Taxodium and Gtyptostrobus are similar. It is more difficult to distinguish the fossil plants for short of enough morphological features.The paper offered some taxonomic criteria by systematically comparing the four genuses in traits of shoots, leaves, pistillate and staminate cones.
