Abstract: Elicitors are used as important mean of regulating secondary metabolites biosynthesis in studing taxol production in Taxus cell cultures. The stimulation of biotic and abiotic elicitors in taxol biosynthesis are summarized in this paper. Besides, their probable reaction mechanisms are also discussed.
