Abstract: Eight soybean genotypes were used to study the effects of genotype and NAA concentration on plant regeneration from hypocotyl explant. All the genotypes used in the test produced calli, but regeneration rate varied greatly between the genotypes. In the 8 tested genotypes, Fen 33 produced the highest regeneration rate, up to 50%; Jin 19 had 42% regeneration; Jinhan 125 was the lowest, with 19% regeneration. The most desirab le medium in the test was B5+ NAA 0.3 mg/L +KT 1 mg/L+3% sucrose.
