Abstract: The abscisic rate varied in flower buds, flowers and immature pods of soybean. The abscission was the most serious in immature pods of 5 days age among flower buds, flowers and pods. Compared with the normal reproductive organs, the aborted flower bud, flower and pod had lower contents of cytokinins. The differences were significant in pods of 5 days age. The content of abscisic acid in aborted pods of 5 days age was much higher than the normal ones. The zearalenone content was the highest in normal opened flowers. It seems that different plant hormones are involved in the regulation of the abortion processes in soybean.
