Abstract: Pseudotaxcus Chienii is endemic in China. It belongs to Taxaceae and Pseudotaxus. Chemical components of its extracts were analyzed on HPLC to see if there was Taxol in the plant. Two compounds have been identified as 1，1，3-triphenylpropane ( I ) and tsugalactone ( III ) in PE extract by chemical and spectral analysis.
