Abstract: The Photosynthetic rate of grain amaranth is significantly higher than that of soybean and the Photosynthetic rate in some varieties of grain amaranth introduced from America is significantly higher than that of the varieties in China. The analysis of Plant constituents shows that the grain amaranth is rich in protein. It is a forage crop with high potential value of exploitation.
