Abstract: Regeneration of thallus fragments of Centroceras clavatum has been studied in our lab. The results show that the thallus fragments may regenerate into new apical cells at the upper node and some vegenerated into cortical cells at the Lower node after being cultured for about one week, The apical cell may grow into a new regenerating branch, The outward projecting cortical cells gradually formed into rhizoid, The ability of regeneration of the thallus fragments of Centroceras clavatum is very strong. There fore it may be a form of propogation.
