Abstract: When root and stem explants of spathiphyllum sp. introduced from Japan were cultured on MS medium supplemented with different hormone proportion, it was found that MS medium With 2mg/L BA and 1mg/L KT was the best for bud induction; by adding different kind of cytokinin and auxin and different concentrations of BA, it was testified that MS medium supplemented with 1mg/L BA and 0.1mg/L IAA was helpful for hud propagation; about 15 days after bud transfering into the medium for root induction, white roots would develop, and then followed by complete plants.
