Abstract: The vitrification of Daphne plantlets in vitro was affected by　the size of the tip explant and the concentrations of cytokinin in the media, much　more vitreous plantlets were induced when smaller shoot tip explant and higher concentrations of cytokinin were used. The zonal structure of shoot apex of vitreous plantlets appeared different from normal potted plants and normal plantlets in mainly aberration occurring in corpus and tunica.
