Abstract: The sterols and some fatty acid esters were isolated from seed fat of Sapium sebiferum by chemical method, column chromatography and TLC technique. Β-sitosterol, Campesterol and r7-stigmastenol, methyl myristate, ethyl myristate, methyl palmitate, methyl steatate and ethyl steatate were identified by means of GC, and GC-MS determination.
