Abstract: The work on the regulation of gene expression in roots has been received attention recent years. Some promoter of genes isolated from plant pathogens could drive encode gene to express root-specifically or predominantly. The regulatory sequence and trans-acting factor of the root specific expression genes have been found in the plant genome genes. Some function-unknown genes expressed specifically during the development of root have been screened and cloned.
