Abstract: Wound response in plants includes the production, translocation, perception and transduction of wound signal. The wound signal pathway is a network, in which jasmonates are important signal molecules. Ethylene, abscisic acid, systemin, salicylic acid and hydrogen peroxide also play the roles in wound signaling. Through the extensive cross-talk between different signal pathways, plant can integrate all kinds of stress information and hormonal signals to execute the appropriate physiological and developmental responses.
