Abstract: Advances in the transportation of cytoplasmic proteins into chloroplasts were reviewed, including the importance of the transportation of cytoplasmic proteins into chloroplast, the structure and function of transit peptides, and the mechanisms of the transportation of cytoplasmic proteins transport into chloroplasts were disseussed.
