Studies on the Relativity Among Coleoptile Length, Osmotic Adjustment and Yield in Wheat Under Water Stress in Wheat

Abstract: 7 different wheat genotypes were used in the experiment. Coleoptile length, osmotic adjustment and yield of wheat under water stress were measured. The results indicated that the relativity among coleoptile length, osmotic adjustment and yield was significant. The length of coleoptile under water stress was a better parameter for appraising the drought-resistant in wheat.
