Abstract: The results from the early androgenesis of microspores indicated that pollen grains degenerated more rapidly, the appearance and increasement of multicellular pollen grains were slower in the difficult inductive anther culture of wheat. However, more pollen cells diverted into sporophytes in the easy inductive anthers because the frequency of the appearance and increasement of multicellular pollen grains were higher, the pollen grains degenerated more slowly and the amount of unequal divisions was more.
