The Acclimatization of Rosmarinus Officinalis and Analysis of the Essential Oil

Abstract: Rosmarinus of ficinalis L. has been acclimatized in Yunnan from Beijing Botanical Garden. After transplanting for one year in Kunming, the tender leafy shoot and inflorescence were cut off and distilled. Rosemary oil was analysed and studied by GC-MS and GC-FTIR. Twenty four components which were 92.91% of the essential oil were identified. The major constituents were 1.8-cineol (35.84%), camphor (11.61%), bornyl acetate (9.44%) etc.
