Abstract: According to the paper “Halophytes in China” published in this journal and the book “Halophytes in China” published by China Science Press, the authors found halophytes of 66 families, 199 genera and 423 species. By a new survey in Xinjiang, Hainan and Guangdong, the authors found 5 more families, 19 more genera and 79 more species in 2000 and 2001.
