Abstract: The discovery of Early Carboniferous flora from the northeastern margin of North China platform brought far-reaching affect for research of paleogeography, paleoenvironment, paleoecology and regional strafigraphic division and correlation. Early Carboniferous plants and sporopollen collected from the lower part of the original Benxi Formation in Taizi river valley of eastern Liaoning, Hunjiang of Jilin, Fuzhouwan and Jinzhou of southern Liaoning are introduced in this paper.
