Abstract

We established an asexual propagation system of Scabiosa tschiliensis using leaf explants and petiole explants. The optimal medium for inducing adventitious shoots from leaf explants was MS+4.0 mg·L–16-BA; the highest rooting rate for adventitious shoots was obtained with MS+2.0 mg·L–1IBA. The survival rate for seedlings was > 70%.
